Seamans Lawn and Landscape
Inc. uses specifically formulated granular fertilizers to encourage
the overall health and vigor of your lawn. Since granules are
dropped directly onto the soil surface, they feed your grass
naturally through the roots. We only use sulfur-coated fertilizers
to provide a slow-released feeding throughout the growing season.
Our programs are designed to ensure healthy deeply rooted lawns
that can be enjoyed year after year.

ANNUAL LAWN CARE PROGRAM
WINTER:
Liquid pre-emergent for the control of winter grasses
and crabgrass. Liquid post-emergent for any broadleaf
weeds that may be present.
EARLY SPRING:
Liquid pre-emergent for the control of crabgrass and many
other summer weeds. Liquid post-emergent for any broadleaf
weeds that may be present.
SPRING:
Specially formulated slow release granular fertilizer
to promote spring green-up. Liquid post-emergent for any
broadleaf weeds that may be present.
EARLY SUMMER:
Grub control treatment, which is specially designed to
prevent damage caused by grubs.
SUMMER:
Specially formulated slow release granular fertilizer
to sustain a beautiful healthy lawn. Liquid post-emergent
weed control as needed.
LATE SUMMER:
Specially formulated slow release granular fertilizer
to sustain a beautifully healthy lawn. Liquid post-emergent
weed control as needed.
EARLY FALL:
Specially formulated slow release granular fertilizer
that promotes deep root structure to help protect lawns
from harsh winter weather. Liquid post-emergent weed control
as needed.
FALL:
Liquid pre-emergent for the control of winter grasses
and weeds. Liquid post-emergent for any broadleaf weeds
that may be present.
OPTIONAL SERVICES:
NUTSEDGE CONTROL: (May - August)
This weed is very noticeable because of its yellowish-green
color, and its rapid growth rate. Due to its difficulty
to control, more than one application is usually needed.
Unfortunately, there are no known preventative chemicals
available today. Remember the key word is control, which
requires persistence and patience.
DALLISGRASS CONTROL: (June - August)
Dallisgrass is a perennial weed that will return every
year even if chemical applications have been made to prevent
it. This application goes after the root of the weed.
Generally, two or more applications are needed for optimal
control. This allows our technicians to eliminate any
existing Dallisgrass so that it may not return. Hot weather
is needed in order for Dallisgrass applications to work
properly. We will re-spray for this weed as needed throughout
the hot summer months.
FIRE ANT AND INSECT CONTROL:
Red fire ants and other insects can cause serious havoc
on family, friends, and pets. They can also destroy plant
material and cause damage to utility equipment. We offer
several different applications, which help control the
various unwanted insects in your lawn and garden. Please
contact our office for more information.
TURF FUNGICIDE APPLICATION
These applications are needed when your turf shows damage
cause by a fungus such as Brown Patch or Spring Dead Spot.
These problems will need to be diagnosed by our lawn care
experts. Lawns that exhibit continual susceptibility to
fungus attacks are recommended to have timely preventative
fungicide applications. |
